Jay Park, KC, is an international energy lawyer and executive with over four decades of experience shaping global resource law and policy. As Founder and Director of Park Energy Law and former CEO of Reconnaissance Energy Africa, he has advised governments and corporations in more than 50 countries on upstream legislation, production-sharing frameworks, and major international energy projects.
At Straterra, Jay leverages h‘his extensive commercial, financial and regulatory expertise to guide mineral exploration initiatives from concept to compliance—aligning discovery efforts with global capital, governance, and sustainability standards. He remains an active voice in international energy and mining forums, promoting responsible resource development and transparent investment practices worldwide.

Deniz Kuban is a globally recognized energy and natural-resources lawyer specializing in compliance, governance, and cross-border joint ventures. With more than 20 years of experience advising operators and governments across five continents, she bridges the oil, gas, and mining exploration sectors through practical, ethics-driven leadership.
As Chief Compliance Officer at Reconnaissance Energy Africa and Partner at Park Energy Law (London), Deniz has overseen the development and implementation of exploration agreements, international partnerships, and ESG frameworks. As Managing Director at Straterra, she leads the company’s business initiatives and strategy, ensuring operations are transparent, sustainable, and aligned with international best practice.

Murat Kerem Kuban is an accomplished energy and infrastructure operations leader with over 25 years of experience managing large-scale asset portfolios and transformation programs across Europe and the Middle East. Before joining Straterra, he served as Assets Operations Manager for BP Turkey, where he led a 40+ member team overseeing 800 retail sites and drove strategic network growth, divestments, and construction initiatives in full compliance with HSSE and regulatory frameworks.
His career at BP spanned more than two decades in leadership roles covering asset investment, market development, and biofuels strategy, including work in Turkey, the UK, and across Eastern Europe. Renowned for his disciplined execution, safety excellence, and deep understanding of complex regulatory environments, Murat brings operational rigor and real-world experience to Straterra’s exploration and development initiatives.
Senior Mining Geologist and Exploration Manager
Ralf Reiner Wartha is a senior exploration geologist with more than 40 years of experience leading mineral discovery and development programs across Africa. He has managed exploration for gold, copper, uranium, lithium, rare earth elements, and diamonds, holding senior roles with B2Gold, Forsys Metals, and Deep South Resources. Ralf has extensive on-the-ground experience in Angola, where he has designed and executed exploration and groundwater programs, combining deep geological understanding with operational precision in complex environments.
At Straterra, he brings world-class technical leadership and practical expertise in early-stage exploration, resource evaluation, and team development. His ability to integrate advanced exploration methods with sustainable field operations helps position Straterra's projects for long-term success in underexplored regions.
